Tour Highlights

Tour Itenerary

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your private guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha offers a peaceful start to your adventure, surrounded by lush landscapes and distant mountain views. After check-in, take time to relax and recover from your journey, or enjoy a brief tour of the town depending on your arrival time. Your guide will brief you on the exciting days ahead, setting the stage for an unforgettable safari experience.

After breakfast in Arusha, begin your journey toward Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. This compact but diverse park is known for its stunning scenery, groundwater forests, and rich wildlife, including elephants, baboons, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. After exploring the park and enjoying a picnic lunch, continue your drive toward Lake Eyasi, a remote and less-traveled region located on the southern edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and take in the peaceful surroundings of this unique lake environment. The area is home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, offering a cultural immersion unlike anywhere else in Tanzania. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Eyasi.

Start the day early with a special cultural experience: a guided visit to the Hadzabe bushmen, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Join them on a morning hunt or learn traditional survival skills, followed by a visit to the Datoga blacksmiths, known for their handmade jewelry and tools. After this rare cultural insight, return to the lodge for a late breakfast or early lunch, then depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in the afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy sweeping views of the Ngorongoro Crater below. Spend the evening at leisure before dinner and overnight in the highlands.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular safari destinations in Africa. This ancient volcanic caldera is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor, followed by a scenic picnic lunch. After your safari, begin your journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, taking with you memories of a short yet unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.
