Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your private guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha offers a peaceful start to your adventure, surrounded by lush landscapes and distant mountain views. After check-in, take time to relax and recover from your journey, or enjoy a brief tour of the town depending on your arrival time. Your guide will brief you on the exciting days ahead, setting the stage for an unforgettable safari experience.
After breakfast, set out for Arusha National Park, a hidden gem offering a diverse range of landscapes, from lush rainforests to volcanic craters and shimmering lakes. Enjoy a game drive with chances to spot giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and an abundance of birdlife, along with the possibility of seeing colobus monkeys in the treetops. In the afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, vibrant flamingo flocks, and lush groundwater forests. Explore the park’s varied habitats on a game drive, spotting wildlife against the dramatic backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge near the park.
Leave Lake Manyara behind as you drive through the Ngorongoro highlands into the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. Along the way, take in sweeping landscapes teeming with wildlife. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you might spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and endless herds of grazing animals. Settle into your lodge or camp for the night under the Serengeti’s star-filled skies.
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, one of the most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries in the world.
