Serengeti National Park

Home to the world-famous Great Migration, Serengeti National Park offers a classic African safari experience. Vast plains teeming with wildlife—including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and millions of wildebeest—make it one of the most iconic destinations for nature lovers and photographers alike.

Ngorongoro Crater

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater is a natural wonder and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five. This massive volcanic caldera shelters an incredible variety of wildlife in a unique, picturesque setting.

Mikumi National Park

Easily accessible from Dar es Salaam, Mikumi is perfect for a short but rewarding safari. Its open plains and mountain backdrops provide a scenic setting for spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and more—making it a great introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.

Ruaha National Park

Tanzania’s largest national park, Ruaha is a hidden gem known for its rugged landscapes and high predator density. With fewer visitors and a more remote location, it offers an authentic wilderness experience filled with elephants, big cats, and diverse birdlife

Tarangire National Park

Famous for its large herds of elephants and towering baobab trees, Tarangire offers a peaceful and less-crowded safari experience. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a vital water source, drawing a wide range of animals for excellent game viewing.

Selous National Park

One of Africa’s largest game reserves, Selous (now part of Nyerere National Park) offers a remote and wild safari experience. Explore its rivers, lakes, and woodlands by boat, vehicle, or on foot, and encounter elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and rare African wild dogs.

Stone Town

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Stone Town is the cultural heart of Zanzibar. Wander through its narrow, winding alleys lined with historic buildings, vibrant markets, and ornate doorways. Rich in history, this coastal town blends African, Arab, Indian, and European influences, offering a unique glimpse into the island’s past and present.

Nungwi Beach

Located on the northern tip of Zanzibar, Nungwi Beach is famous for its soft white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. It’s a lively destination perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying vibrant nightlife, while still offering peaceful spots for sunset relaxation.

Kendwa Beach

Just south of Nungwi, Kendwa Beach is known for its calm waters and year-round swimming. With fewer crowds and stunning sunsets, it’s an ideal spot for beach lovers seeking both serenity and the occasional full-moon beach party under the stars.

Prison Island

A short boat ride from Stone Town, Prison Island (Changuu Island) is a popular day-trip destination. Originally used as a quarantine station, it’s now home to giant Aldabra tortoises and offers excellent snorkeling, crystal-clear waters, and a fascinating look at Zanzibar’s colonial history.
