TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tarangire National Park is a hidden gem that offers a quieter, more intimate safari experience. It’s known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds that roam freely across the park’s dry riverbeds and open plains.

Why Tarangire?

The park is especially vibrant during the dry season, when animals gather around the Tarangire River, providing excellent wildlife sightings and photo opportunities without the large crowds of other parks.

Birdwatchers will also love Tarangire, with over 500 species recorded, making it one of Tanzania’s best birding destinations.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic safari with a strong chance of close-up animal encounters, Tarangire is a perfect and often underrated choice.
